Responsibilities and Qualifications

Position Summary:

The Sr. Procurement Specialist will help execute the procurement of quality goods through collaboration with Camp Chef’s development and sourcing teams.

Essential Functions :

Perform project management activities in support of innovation and integration; quality, value, testing, evaluation, logistics and maintenance.

Help drive the operation for increased manufacturing capabilities that meet or exceed requirements for cost, quality, and responsiveness.

Plan and implement the company's operations functions and performance in areas including quality assurance, materials usage, capacity planning, and production scheduling.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Support Request for Quote (RFQ) activities at model/SKU level that yield competitive and comparable quotation across the vendor base

  • Review shipping documents, check pricing, receive into ERP system and submit documents for payment

  • Watch inventory levels and catch order increases/sales trends in outgoing orders in market

  • Calculate full container loads for custom requests

  • Organize and orchestrate vendor and PO consolidations

  • Keep data system updated with new product SKU’s, vendors, product arrival dates, etc.

  • Send and receive PO’s and order confirmations

Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years’ experience in Purchasing or QA function

  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • Mandarin Chinese speaking preferred

  • Quality Assurance experience a plus

  • Experience working in an ERP system

  • Ability to read CAD files, or experience in Pro E

  • Strong communication, negotiation and analytical skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel

  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes

  • Forklift experience or ability desired

Working Conditions:

  • Standard office; computer terminal use 8-10 hours per day.

  • Moving boxes of products for shipping as needed. Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted

  • Potential domestic and International travel to include weekends for approximately 10 days at a time as needed
