Responsibilities and Qualifications
To assist in preparation of consolidated financials, uploading and reporting information, and inter-company billing and reconciliations.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordination and settlements of intercompany transactions, maintain the Revolving Line of Credit (RLOC), and manage the foreign exchange rates between foreign and US entities
Communicate effectively with foreign subsidiaries’ regarding reporting, audits, and ad hoc requests
Assist foreign subsidiaries with increasing their month end efficiency
Record monthly GAAP journal entries as well as reviewing outstanding balances on GAAP companies
Preparation of consolidated Balance Sheet and Income Statement, in accordance with GAAP ensuring accurate and timely data of financials information from various system and manual sources
Assist with financial variances, including significant fluctuations between periods, plan, forecast and / or unusual transactions
Import and ensure all local trial balances are accurately reported in the ERP system (AX Dynamics 2012)
Consolidate in corporate’s external reporting system (Controller), update supplemental forms, and verify it reconciles appropriately at all levels
Preparation of global ad hoc reports required for reporting and analysis: Sales and Margin Analysis, YTD Employee Cost, DSO, DPO, Headcount
Supports the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing process and prepares monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations
Work with team to expand reporting capabilities in various systems (Host, Sales Cube, Logility)
Other projects as assigned
3-5 years related experience
BS in Accounting or Finance preferred
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents.
Ability to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries or complaints.
Attention to detail and thoroughness
Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, with all levels in the work force
Demonstrated ability to plan and organize own work, projects and the work of others in the department, with minimal supervision
Ability to research and prepare ad hoc analysis
Ability to work effectively in a team environment with all levels of staff and management, while providing in-depth analysis and recommendations using critical thinking and sound judgment
Knowledge of Microsoft office products & accounting systems.
