Responsibilities and Qualifications
PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF POSITION
The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for driving business results by providing accurate financial information to business unit leaders and proactively analyzing trends to identify opportunities for improvement. This role will serve as the primary Finance point of contact for specific business unit leaders and a key partner in the annual planning and monthly forecasting processes for these business units. This position is responsible for the full P&L from revenue down to EBIT and will work within the broader Finance department to summarize and bridge segment level results.

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a major in Accounting or Finance
CPA, MBA preferred
Two or more years of experience in FP&A or related role
Proficient in Microsoft suite of programs (Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
Strong business acumen with an ability to rely on judgment to plan and accomplish goals
Strategic thinker with strong analytical ability and problem-solving skills
Ability to work cross-functionally with all levels of the organization
Team player with a service mentality and a high level of energy and enthusiasm
Results-oriented – takes great pride in accountability
Working understanding of GAAP

Analyze financial data and provide reporting to highlight operational performance and areas that need focus.
Prepare monthly financial reports and forecasts for Senior Executives
Prepare month end finance reports, including detailed analysis of variances and impact on meeting divisional KPI’s.
Manage revenue forecast across business units working closely with Operations, Marketing and Sales.
Work with departmental processes to achieve targeted inventory levels while supporting customer demand
Work with Operations Team to understand financial impacts of varies business decisions (such as new product feasibility/prioritization)
Prepare monthly and annual budget including sensitivity analysis
Drive process improvements within Finance organization
Build collaborative relationships across Operations, Finance, Accounting and Corporate functions
Drive Financial literacy across operational areas with focus on profitability and cash
SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITION

Physical Requirements: Employee will be sitting most of the time, with some walking and standing. Minor lifting objects over 10 lbs. Manual dexterity for extensive computer work and writing. Hearing, speaking, and vision are required (with or without correction).
Mental Requirements: Must communicate effectively in verbal and written formats. Reading comprehension and basic math skills are a requirement. Flexibility to effectively deal with a variety of people and situations and to handle interruptions and multiple tasks simultaneously. Quick thinking and problem solving to readily assimilate information. Ability to maintain tact and highly professional manners. Initiative to effectively complete tasks with little supervision. The ability to identify and appropriately handle confidential information.
