Responsibilities and Qualifications
Working as an integral part of the Bell Helmets marketing team, this candidate will lead in the creation of all copy that supports the brand and its activations. With a thorough understanding of the brand and its market, the copywriter will use their skill set to deliver written content that brings the brand to life. Communicating in an authentic way that supports the brands objectives, and resonates will all Bell Helmets consumers, this candidate will set the tone for all brand communications.
Leading with a thorough understanding of the Bell brand and its consumers, you will be responsible to creating and delivering authentic written copy to be used across the brands various touch points.
Create headlines, slogans, catchphrases, straplines, and body copy to support all marketing campaigns.
Deliver the copy for all advertising, social media, product descriptors, catalogues, and online listings.
Liaise with various departments within the business, and interpret their briefs in such a way that you can create the required copy to support their objectives.
Write original, clear and authentic copy through various iterations of the project.
Amend, revise or redevelop copy in response to feedback from the marketing director or project leads within the business.
Proofread copy supplied to the brand, and ensure that the tone, spelling, and grammar are correct and reflect the brands identity.
Work on several projects at once, sometimes under pressure and often on tight deadlines.
Work with third parties, our partners, and distributors to ensure they are using copy that is in line with the brands tone of voice, and helping them where needed to create copy that is on brand.
Work with the internal and external resources to ensure the delivery of best in class marketing, on time, and on budget, ensuring every campaign and activation drives the Bell brand and our objectives forward.
HOW YOU WILL ACHIEVE IT
Have the willingness and ability to dive deep into the brand and understand its personality, tone of voice, and objectives.
A self-motivate individual with the ability to take ownership of your remit and make a positive impact through your work, especially with cross-functional teams and external suppliers / partners.
Have an eye for detail, and apply this to the work you are doing.
A good understanding of the action sports market, its culture, and the consumer landscape within it.
A creative and imaginative individual with good written and interpersonal skills.
Ability to prioritize and balance multiple projects, especially in a fast-paced environment and across multiple categories.
- Bachelor's degree with minimum 3 years experience in a fast paced, communications/marketing environment including social media and web.
